Drop Mounts?

Im looking for motor mounts that lower the engine so I can fit a larger intake on the 347. Are solid drop mounts what I am looking for? how much lower do mounts like this compare to stock mounts?
How much vibration will a 347 make on solid mounts? anyone with solid mounts (any engine size) how much vibration do you guys get?
Anyone have drop mounts? where do I find quality ones? any other types of mounts I should look into?
Will the change in mounts change the angle of the motor? and if so will it effect anything?
What is the biggest intake you can fit under the stock hood?
I do not want a cowl hood it just doesnt fit into the look I want, If I have too though Im going for 2.5"

Not sure if this will be of much help, but Saleen was able to shoehorn a 351 under the stock hood on the S351, so I might be inclined to see what mounts they had. Solid mounts would rattle the car like crazy. A buddy of mine had them for a bit and went to some polyurethane mounts after being tired of the constant shaking.

You could space the k-member down a little.
Not saying that I am jumping on that Idea but how would I go about doing that?
Anyone know the mounts used on a S351? that would be nice to know:D
I am looking into box intakes or something like a systemax of victor 5.0, I am converting it to a fox style tb so i can fit some nice VCs on the heads.

30's would be the minumum I would do with a 150 shot. You may need 36's if going to a 200 shot.

On the mount question, I thought convertible mounts sat the engine lower than coupe mounts. I could be wrong on that though.

I pm'd you hope it helps! :D

For those that are curious what I have found out is he used 83 convertible mounts and cut them to lower the engine. Then he notched the K-member 3/4in rearward and set the motor back.

Since the intake didn't flow as well as he wanted he Extrude honed them. The early cars he cut/ welded the upper plenum and added an inch or so. He must have got a deal on the extrude honing because for the price of honing you can buy another intake!
