im just wondering what kind of drop people are doing for their cars....i was thinking 1.5 in front and 2 in back. then again i dont know what the limits for the drop without rubbing is. any input anyone? or even better pictures of your ride and how much you lowered it. thanks guys.
Eibach Sportlines 2"front 1.8"rear drop. Some people remove the isolators and that lowers it about 1/4 to 1/2 more without rubbing tires...they do scape the road though. If your going to get headers you may want a little less of a drop. Here are some pics I took today.
looks nice i have a 98 gt and wana lower it but i got bbk long tubes how much do you think i should lower it. One thing wrong with that pic that frigen snow on your stang. I put mine away awhile ago cant wait till the winter is over

i think this time i'm going coil overs, that way i can drop it however much i want.. get it slammed for the spring carshow season.. then put it back to stock for winter etc
Isolators are rubber rings on the top of your springs, and the fronts have a rubber coil around the bottom. They cut doun in spring noise and squeeks, you can remove one and get a 1/4" drop, or both for a 1/2" drop. One is OK and quiet, I have not removed both, so I don't know if they would squeek or not.
Here are some pictures of mine with Steeda Sport Springs with one isolator removed from the front, for 1.25" drop in rear and 1.50" drop in front. No rubbing with 315/35/17's on a 17X10.5 rear wheel. (front wheels are 17X9's with stock tires)
