Ok first I'm putting the 79 302 with a t-five (five key don't work) in a 6five coupe that originally had a 200 six with a 3 speed in it.

1st will crossmemeber work?
2nd will radiatior work for now...I know I need to get a bigger one.
any other problems I might run into?

1. you'll need V8 motor mounts and frame mounts
2. you'll need a T5 conversion crossmember
3. radiator outlets are on the wrong side
4. you'll need to lengthen your engine wiring harness
5. need to re-route the fuel line to avoid exhaust heat
6. you'll likely fidn that the driveshaft is too long, I had to shorten mine an inch

besides suspension, brakes, and rearend that should be most of it.

Always something!

Cross member...do I get that off of ebay 68ish$$ or somewhere else?

I got motor mounts from metro mustang...didn't know I needed fram mounts as well I thought the ones in there would work.

Radiator...the one in it won't work at all will it?

it'll work if you rig up some kind of crossover. The water pump outlet is on the drivers side of a 79 302, your radiator should be a pass side outlet on the bottom. I tried that for a while and it always leaked, so I switched to an early 302 front dress with the pass. side pump outlet. You could have a radiator shop put an outlet on the correct side of the radiator, but why bother with a 6 cyl radiator that won't cool a V8 anyway.

There are always lots of little things that pop up, just don't get in a rush and do a hack job. Its always better to do it once and do it right.
