So I just installed the dspecs on my 2007 GT along with the eiback pro-kit and bmr adjustable panhard bar. I have my car in right now and the dealer is telling me they can't align it properly. I have asked if a camber plate or bolts will allow them to make the required adjustments to bring it within spec. They are suggesting I let them drill new strut tower holes to remount it. I am concerened about drilling new holes. So you guys with the dspecs help me out. Is there a camber plate that is compatable with the dspecs? Shouldn't the last thing on the dealers mind be to drill new holes to turn and remount the strut? Could the setting on the dspec being full hard or the panhard bar be the problem?

I'm surprised with the Pro Kit that you are that far out of spec. Camber bolts would bring it back in to spec. Drilling doesn't cause any harm, but D-Specs aren't cheap, so I wouldn't personally let anyone drill mine.

They want to reposition the 4 factory mount bolts that connect to the strut bar. so i would have four new holes next to the old ones

I think I would look somewhere else. My camber was within spec and castor was off just a bit, but they were able to bring it back into spec with no modifications. i've not heard of anyone needing anything else. But if they say they can't get it, then you'll want to get the Steeda adjustable HD upper strut mounts to bring the castor back into spec.

Camber bolts would work great, but you should be able to get it really close to spec without them.

If they try to do this, I suggest you shoot them.

Lowering the car causes the wheels to move up into the wheelarch along it's arc of movement so the top of the wheel tips in. If you look at the bottom of the struts, you'll see the strut bolts which hold the spindle of the wheel hub. Fitting an eccentric cam camber bolt in this position will push the spindle back out up to two degrees and if that isn't enough, you can buy another bolt which apparently gives you two more degrees top play with.

There's a Steeda set that makes camber adjustment easy. Pricey, though.

http://www.steeda.com/products/steeda_billet_camber_adjusters.php

Seems to me the factory shop manual mentions changing the shape of the strut bolt-holes to allow adjustment.
