I'm strongly thinking about buying a new DSS Pro Bullet long block, as it seems to be a pretty nice package, check it out here: http://www.dssracing.com/306pblong.html
My question is, for about 5 grand, is it a good deal? That's with Canfield Bullet Power adder heads. Second question is, this engine isn't complete, as it'll need intake, oil pan, timing chain cover, water pump, headers..all that and more, but could i use all the stock parts from my '85 5.0 on the block? I'm assuming this engine is based off of a typical 302 block, since it didnt say anything about a Dart block. I know everything off my car wont extract the full potential of this engine but i want the engine in my car so i can drive it, and upgrade gradually as i go along.
