Elaborating on what your looking for would help a bit.

I would also like to know how good of quality DSS stuff is....I was considering buying a 331 long block from them and adding a supercharger down the road...what are their blocks capable of? Thanks.

Ive never owned a DSS product but from what Ive heard they do great work, and produce great engines.

Whenever I get the chance/money to build a 306 Im going to them.

He wants to know the build quality and horsepower levels of a dss short block...

In the past year and half or so, I've read many posts from unhappy buyers of DSS short blocks. Many indicate that build quality as of late has gone down - as a result of increased demand and hype. If you haven't already, perhaps try a search; there are many threads with lots of info on this one:SNSign:

I don't believe in their level XX blocks either. How can a stock block with threaded freeze plugs hold so much more than a stock block, wait it can't its just a marketing tool. Go with Coast High Performance or your local speed shop's recomendations.

I was just agreeing, a stock block is a stock block and always will be.
