dual focus pumps question

^ Thats what I was told also on modular Fords as a guy with a GT(40) pump with 60# injectors and upgraded wiring made 530 with that setup.

however when mine was put on the dyno (stock wiring and 42# injectors) my GT(40) pump went 100% duty cycle @ just 5200RPMs. Although my AF stayed fine until around 6000RPM and was still 11.8 @ 6200.
I SHOULD get a BAP, but just havnt got around to it yet HAHA!

hotmustang331, when you car was put on the dyno with stock wiring and 42s and your gt 40 pump was at 100%, what was your rwhp? was it the 479 that you have listed?

i'm just asking because i think i'll have around 490-510 rwhp...

what pumps more fuel... 1 gt 40 pump or 2 focus pumps?
 
i guess the last thing i want to know is if i can do the upgraded fpdm and no wiring upgrade. to be honest, i really don't think i want to drop the tank. interestly, i called d'ag racing and they said they have a wiring upgrade and claim you do not have to drop the tank to install. however, the write up i found on modularfords shows that you do. interesting... not sure if i trust d'ag claim... i trust the write up though.

i have been reading so much stuff about doing this and that with baps, wiring upgrades, and fpdm upgrades. it seems everyone has a different opinion on what to do. i just want to be safe at 500 rwhp w/o going overboard.
