They'd have to be some small stages, if you're running a stock shortblock. A two stage works by limiting the first stage say, to help with a wheelspin problem through first gear, then kicks in the second stage after you're going good. You can get them setup to use the first stage to get moving, lose that one in favor of the larger second stage, and once you're in your final gear making a run for the traps, activate both stages. Or, you could activate the second stage and keep the first stage going right off the bat, without turning the first stage off. Got a link to the NX kit? I'd be interested in checking it out.

Depending on your combo, I think the 2 stage would probably be a bit much. I'm not sure how tunable the stages are, but if you were able to go something like a 50-75 shot, then up to 100-125ish, it could be beneficial. A single stage wet kit may be all you need though.
