I looked @ my coolant level when it was cold, and it was a good 1" low. I figured i should drain it out and put all new coolant in it anyways. I was wondering which hose, or is there a plug should i drain it out of and what kind should i put back in. Finally, do any parts stores take old coolant or should i go back in the woods (practically my backyard) and dump it back there??

THANKS

there should be a drain plug on the radiator. Mine was bottom passanger side. I used prestone coolant. I also used prestone super radiator flush, which you may not need but it wouldnt hurt. I also did a back flush using prestones back flush kit. once again you may not need it but it cant hurt. Dont dump it out in the woods, take it to a local parts store and if they dont take it just take it to one of the places that does coolant flushes and what not and if they dont take it, just leave it at their door, then theyll take it ;)

Depending on the age of your radiator, flushing it might actually do harm. When they get old, some that "junk" is what's plugging up minor holes and keeping them from leaking; when the flush gets rid of the "junk" the holes are empty and you could have a leak. Keep that in mind.

The only guidelines for coolant are: Don't mix the green and orange! I've heard it creates a nasty gas and that's bad news.

Call your local recycling center; they should take anti-freeze or might be able to tell you where to take it. I know autozone takes used oil, but my local store doesn't take anti-freeze. Please don't just dump it on the ground like some morons.
