Alright so I finally got around to installing my bilstein shocks. So, 've got a Jack stand under the frame and a jack applying pressure to the rear axle. I took the rear bolt off on the quad shock and now it's hanging. I also took the bottom bolt off the shock. Now, how do I pull the shock out? Do I just pull or is it screwed in somewhere?

how is the top held in place? I thought you had to remove some plastic paneling in the trunk and unscrew the top

Pulling doesn't seem to work. Would kicking the Shock to the side to break it loose be alright?

Absolutely not! There are connected in the trunk. You have to remove the plastic panelling to reach where they connect and remove the nuts!

Also Did you remove the quad shock from the rear?
You know what I did and maybe this will help was I put a s.s. Hose clamp "A 24" long one around the last 3 rings and then compressed the spring with the jack to as much as I could then Tighten up the clamp and the that will hold the spring compressed for ya to pull it out..
PLEASE be carful adn wear Safty glasses..
But it should be fine...
