don't think so, but you might want to put some turndowns on there so you don't heat up anything ur not supposed to and vent the fumes in the right direction

on the highway it's annoying when you're just trying to cruise and listen to music

I did OR h-pipe flowmasters and dumps all at the same time and saw less than a .1 change in my ET. The 60' got slower (I bleieve .2) but I made it up at the top end of the track. I am convinced that if I go back to tail pipes I will get a better ET but I kept the dumps because I liked the sound. 3 years later I think I will add the tail pipes because I am getting a little older and it is starting to drive me crazy. No problems with fumes though.

If thats true, then all the NMRA guys would be running tailpipes, but they're not. Pure Street and Factory stock run tailpipes, but thats because its a rule.

i actually had turn-ups for a while....I cut the stock pipes where they bend up so it looked like a turndown that was upside down..if you know what i mean, that was loud and stinky...You get used to the drone and the rattling interior pieces after a week but its much better than my ****ty tailpipes

I ran mac mufflers without the tailpipes for a month, yes I had drone but it was only @idle to 1700 rpms then it sounded great and had a nice rumble that got louder through the rpm range.I just put turndowns on it last week that are angled at a 45 degree angle,it sounds quieter than having no pipes and has a lot less drone @idle to 1700rpms like before. This is from MAC Flowpaths others my be slightly differnt.
