Any downside to using exhaust dumps? I'm sick and tire of trying to align the cat-back so it doesn't rub/hit something or other.

Also, any downside to just removing the pipes after the mufflers while I get the dumps delivered? I'm thinking in terms of fumes getting in the passenger compartment and killing me, which would be somewhat inconvenient... It's a Flowmaster cat-back, so all I have to do is unbolt it.
Thanks, guys.

the fumes will be a little worse when you are sitting for awhile and the turndowns will take the sound out of your exhaust. Depending on how long the catback has been on your car, you may have to cut the pipes off anyway because of how they swell up
