Duraspark Conversion Help

I have a 1987 302 efi and going to carb. I just bought a duraspark distrib. one thing i noticed is the shaft from the EFI dist. is longer then the duraspark one. the duraspark is the one i want, but not sure if its short shaft is gona be a problem? any help please.

it will fit, i first thought this when i was more into the ford trucks. did you get my other post about the cap and so forth.
