Dying seatbelts

Who has advice on dying seatbelts? I have a black interior, but the male ends of my front seatbelts are blue. I just picked through a crate of stang belts and found a pair of factory female ends in black at my parts guy's place but I couldn't find any male ends.

What type of product should I use, is it effective, and will it dye both the strap and the vinyl sheath?

I have green seatbelts and wanted then black so I tried using clothes dye and let it soak in hot water overnight with no luck. The dye cannot penetrate nylon fibers.

You just saved me alot of stress. Thanks! I guess I'll wait till I do a shoulder strap mod to get black ones.
