Yeah Im excited. We just finished installing TCI's mustang II front end kit, so hopefully the engine, transmission (going C6) and rear end (going mono leafs and cal tracs) will all go in this weekend.

Maybe a little giggle gas too...
 
Is the TorkerII still on it. It can't be everyone says they can not make any power. It must be ported, because those are great numbers.

You know, that's what everyone says but I saw no change in the dyno numbers from when the Torker II was on my car to the next day when I put the RPM Air Gap on it. I think the Torker II gets a bad rap.
 
Ha ha good call on the torker...its actually a victor jr. now. Everything else is the same motor wise.

This was done on an engine dyno. Not a chassis dyno.

Chassis dyno will come hopefully in a month or so, once we get the car back together, i'm curious as to how much power the c6 robs.

Actually had it in the car for the last 5 years or so like this...with the only change here now being changing from a torker II to a victor jr. intake manifold.

We just installed a TCI mustang II front end on it, so I figured while it was out I'd have it dyno'ed.
 
As far as hood clearance goes? Thats the only problem I see with running a victor jr and a shaker? The TCI mustang 2 front suspension I'm told lowers the motor 2 inches or so from factory location. We are putting the motor back in next weekend so I haven't tested this. If it doesn't fit, I'll put the torker back on til I figure something else out.
 
if you've dropped the motor two inches, then you will be starting out in great shape!

the main problem i see you may have is the angle of the shaker. victor's are level intakes versus most other intakes.

i have fit a shaker to a 351W with a victor and it looks relatively stock. let me know if you have problems and need any ideas. i spent a lot of time trying to make mine work (and i didn't have the luxury of the two inches of engine drop!).
 
My guess is that the torker actually makes less than the victor and the wieand stealth.

I'd go with the stealth over the torker.

But with that said, my car with the setup mentioned, and 4.11 gears did out run my folks '06 400 hp vette pretty good

Think about an RPM Performer intake. Mill the divider plenum like the Air Gap has and you will have an intake that will match or beat the Vic Jr. on your car and allow the shaker to fit at the same time.

this is from the FAQs, 16th question from the very top:

Will your shaker work on any small block engine?

Yes, my 351C and 351W units will cover the gauntlet of small blocks as long as they maintain a fairly stock configuration. By this I mean no Victor Jr. or other high rise intakes. When used on shorter engines like 289'S and 302's an air cleaner or carb spacer is used to raise it to the desired height. Final adjustments can be made with carb gaskets as they range from paper thin to 1/4" thick.

I was thinking long and hard about a shaker on my car and found some guys on the net who were able to get a performer RPM to fit their shaker but nothing taller than that. I said screw it and decided to stick with my air gap.
 
this is a victor junior on a 351W in a 69 mustang. it doesn't stick up thru the hood beyond the factory location like most do when they alter intakes and i think it looks pretty stock. i didn't have the luxury of an engine that was dropped two inches like the OP does. If you want to fit a shaker with a victor, it can be done. I just takes some effort in some way.
