car made 603rwhp/586rwtq and was still going. it made more boost than i thought it would and it probably would've went to 20psi. then i would've ran out of fuel. going back next monday...hopefully it will be a little cooler. still has more in it

95* with 33% humidity

overall i'm pretty happy

Have any pics? You must have the chassis braced up pretty good to keep from pretzeling the body.

auto or manual, and how much boost? Regardless, that is a powerful street car.

That's gonna be one mean mamba jamba. It seems those novi2000's are always putting out great numbers. What made you decide on the novi? I know they're GREAT blowers, I'm just curious and wondering what the deciding factor was for you and your goals? Have fun!

very nice numbers. i was thinking about that blower down the road too. those type of numbers help with the convincing.

i think we stopped at 15psi, but the car wanted to keep going. fuel system is an eliminator pump, -10 from tank to pump, then -8an up to the Y-block and both rails, and 60# injectors. car has a lot more in it, but i'm gonna keep it around 600rwhp and see what i can do with it. i got there at 9am and no one was there (figuring they opened at 8am) and i got worried and was like great, i drove all the way out here and no one's here. someone showed up at like 9:15

manual, we stopped at 15psi, i believe. i'm gonna go back to the 3.5" blower pulley, but leave the 8" crank pulley. should put me where i want to be, but put the peak HP higher up in the RPM range...it'll help keep it cooler too

It certainly has more in it should you choose to push. I lost my dyno tune, and am retuning from scratch on the street. I've got it back up to 9 psi. When I get it tuned again, I'm going to find 600ish at the wheels and leave it there. With these cars on the street you don't measure 0-60 anymore. Instead, it's the time it takes to go from fun-time to ****-in-the-pants. That's the more important measurement, and higher is better.

hahah exactly why i want to stay at around 600. i was talking to a guy waiting to get his car tuned and his buddy has a mustang with 900hp and he said it's not even fun to drive

the novi could definately do it

if i put on a bigger set of heads, i would've shot for 700rwhp, but my original goal was, 600-650. the car was running pretty hot, so my IATS were getting high. when i change the blower pulley back to 3.5 and go back for a tune, i wouldn't be surprised if i picked up some more HP from the air being cooler. remember, we stopped at ~5400...the motor will be spun to 6800rpm

with the pulley change, the car put down 630rwhp and 565rwtq at 6400rpm. car saw 15psi on the final pull.

Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords was there to document a cam swap and other work on an 01 GT, w hich was pretty cool.

definately happy with the results
