This friday going to get car dyno tuned. Looking forward to it, going to tune the 302 for this year then goal is to have the 347 ready this winter maybe ad intercooler to super charger and start increasing boost. but for now looking forward to getting rid of fmu.
Was gonna go blower on my 331 at some point this summer too, but a used ZEX Nitrous kit practically just fell into my lap. Might try the giggle gas for a while.
They are chiping it. its stock bottom end i believe, ported svos, trick flow track heat intake, 42# injecters, 75 mm throtle body and mas, bbk exhoust, stock cam and 1.7 rockers and vortec super charger(7psi). not positive on motor, i didnt build it so all here say but car ran 13.2 with out super charger and 3.25 gears. I put 4.10s in and was going to spray it then went with charger instead.
Well the car dyno'd 365hp and 370ftlb or torque to rear wheel. Was hoping for a liitle more but not knowing anything about motor i can't complain. ran into a few issues, first blew header gasket due to loose bolts, fp was at 80lbs, and blower belt was slipping got those fixed and new plugs. The guys at wichita dyno did great job, and will get it back when the 347 is ready.
It really liked timing and think if we wouldnt of ran out of time maybe would have got closer to that mark. crazy thing is it boosted nearly 11pounds at 6000 rpm.
