Ok Im installing
-New PI heads
-Pi intake
-VT stg 1 N/A cams
-FRPP 4.10s

The question is should I shell out the crazy money for a dyno tune or a handheld tuner from someone very respected like Tim(with a nice tune) .

go with dyno tune... youll like it a LOT more... plus your gonna be changing like half a million diffrent things and im pretty sure that the stock tune being slightly modified with a canned tune isnt going to do much other than help it blow up.

I would say that would depend greatly on the tuners in your area. Personally, what I would do is, get a full dyno(approx 3 runs) with a/f and all and send that to Tim and have him build a tune around that and slap it in your handheld. best of both worlds.

I agree with these guys. Go do a few dyno runs then call up Tim at MPH. I got a tune from Tim and love it. I didn't dyno but his tune is still top of the line.
