Dyno Tuned.. Info??

So got my car tuned and dynod today finally after waiting a very long time of needing it. Dont have a ton done to the car but still needed it. I topped out at 300 HP even and 310-311 Ft=lbs torque. I was expecting more like 330 at least but oh well I guess. I have magnaflow magnapacks, JLT, and thats it but I beat 350+ HP cars all day long, some has to do with driver but I just exoected a bit more.

Ill have video and pic of the results, but I was juist wondering with basic mods what people are getting any advice, I mean money is an issue I know what I WANT to do with my acr but afording it is different. HAHA

If thats 300rwhp you are around 350-360 crank hp and 360-370 FT lbs at the crank. That's a nice 50hp increase over the stock 300hp engine.
 
Yeah if you look at it that way I guess it makes since. I knew I would have that much at the crank but we all know that all that matter is to the wheel. Its not horrible I was just expecting more around 320, or rather hoping. lol

Mufflers don't add crap to these cars, just sound.. so you have an intake and dyno tune. When I had a C&L & dyno tune I was only putting down 287whp / 303trq.

What is everyone's experience with exhaust systems? I've always had stock until the '07GT I had for a short time. It had a great sound (Pypes axlebacks). It had the 3.73 gears and was tuned. It had issues, but when it ran, it felt much faster than the 2010 GT I just bought, also w/ 3.73 gears. Now I haven't really gotten on it mucyh as it is still in the break in period, but the '07 was very quick. I know in the F-150 world (in new models), the aftermarket exhaust systems actually sometimes hurt HP and performance compared to stock. What is everyone's experience with the Mustangs?

Nop thats not horrible your numbers are actulay great:nice:. I'm shocked you got that much with the few mods you have. To get to 330rwhp you will need cams Long tube headers and a O/R H or X pipe. Even then you might not hit 330rwhp. I know I don't have an S197 but I have stage II cams and every bolt on for a 99-04 mustang and I only put down 293rwhp (thats on a mustang dyno).
 
SJ- With a cat back system you can see upwards of 10-15 horsepower, sometimes less but I felt and saw a difference.

King- Thanks, I gues I should be happy, I got it tuned by LT Motorsports and they did my exact car with longtubes and x pipe and they got it to 330 and got it to 350-360 with comp cams. Thats most likely the route Im going but I just need the money. I know every car isnt the same so I cant gauruntee ill get that much but they told me they could definately get me to 320 with just the LT and O/R x. Hoefully in not too long I can get it all and some pulleys and even a 100 shot (Which i would have if on my way to get it I didnt get a ticket) Haha

Oh and 69Mach niiiiiice car!!! I looked at your link, I would be happy if I could ever get my baby like that. Unfortunately I dont think Ill ever have the money for a supercharger, but LT might hook me up if I sport their stuff! We will see.
