Dyno'd the 81 Fox... Video fixed
Some of you know that my son has an 81 Fox Fairmont that we work on together. This is a natural hangout for us due to the close relationship of our cars and the EFI 5.0 powerplant.
The car runs strong for a teenager's ride.
I was guessing it would pull 240 at the wheels, but it didn't do it.
It was running PIG RICH at 10:1 until redline, where it got up to 12.5:1.
It pulled just shy of 220 rwhp and 270 rwtq.
I know there is a ton more power to be had if we could get the rich condition under control.
We could only afford the 3 pulls. Tuning is very expensive at this place.
