Took my 09 WRX to the dyno today and was pretty impressed with it. Baseline pulls were 202 whp, and 200 ish ft/lbs, and they ended up getting 228 whp @ 6200 and 240 wtq at 3800. I was pretty impressed with the power, and the car feels a bit smoother than it did before. I know its not mustang stuff, but i figured i'd share anyways, all wheel drive dynos are pretty cool in person. I'll scan the sheets and post some pics if there is any interest.

Hey 5L5 I'm no expert but isn't the G35x's AWD'ness only a situational thing. I think I read somethin like that on the Infinity website. That the front wheel will start spinning if you are losing traction or something... I'm probably wrong.

Not bad numbers. I have an 05 STi DD. With just minor bolt ons I made 331 awhp. Those cars are a lot of fun to drive.

I went to a place called Dent Sport Garage in Norwood mass, the guys were cool as hell there, I hadnt heard of them before but when I got my car from the Subaru dealer i talked them into a reflash of the computer if i bought the car there, my salesmen talked to DentSport and they said it would be a good idea to dyno the car. So i basically got a free tun out of the deal. The car dosent feel a whole lot faster, its got more punch down low and its a whole lot smoother

Norwood, I have a friend (Mustang Racer) who used to live in Norwood, now lives in Norwell. He sold his coupe a while back to buy and build something else!

Yes and no.

From a dead stop, it's always going to be in AWD. I beleive ths split is 75% rear and 25% front. WHen you get about 11MPH, it slowly takes away power from the front and goes to 100% RWD unless slip is detected.

If you hit the SNOW mode button, it's 50%/50% up until 15MPH and then it begins to transition to RWD gradually at higher speeds unless slip is detected.

at freeway speeds its 100% RWD, but when you come to a stop, the front wheels are engaged....to help launch you ahead when the light goes green

I had wanted to lease one of those...but from the back the car is flat out ugly. the front looks great...interior is great...but the back looks like it backed into a wall and squashed it.

I'd still love to drive it though

was looking at one of these for a dd but decided on the mazda speed 3 instead, little more room ... i put down 270 hp and 280 tq on a awd mustang dyno and 326 hp on a dyno jet (was curious oh the difference between load based and inertia based dyno)
