Are any of you guys running dynmax race bullets? I just put mine on today and fired it up. It might be the loudest thing ive ever heard! I'm running LT's and an h pipe. I started it in the garage and it shook my moms pictures off the shelve inside. You can really hear my cam now too. Really didnt think they were gonna be THAT loud.

Why not just run straight pipes? Pretty much the same sound.

i switched to mac flowpaths i love the sound of them.

i had flows to begin with, then mob on these boards got some bullets and i wanted to try something new. i grabbed some bullets and at first they were nice i guess, the idle sounded nice, but at WOT it sounded like open pipe pretty much. and on my car it sounded like a dump truck i just got to hating the sound. and they were too loud for me too, they are nice simple mufflers/resonators lol

heres a vid of my car with dumped flowpaths
http://media.putfile.com/Untitled-96-9

if you have a vid of your bullets i am interested in hearing them and comparing it to how mine sounded

Er, well ... that's kinda what I meant. I was just assuming that there would be a crossover of some kind ahead of that, but I guess "straight pipes" would pretty much be just that - two pipes coming right off the header collectors.

The last time I heard a muffler-less Mustang was when I cranked my previous notch up with just an off-road H-pipe in place. The thing was hideously loud to the point where I didn't even bother trying to drive it around the neighborhood, and it somehow sounded like a damned tractor. Yuck. Why anyone would wanna go for that sound on anything but a track-only (and legitimately built-up) monster is beyond me.

I have heard race bullets on the right car and they sound great. Not even a built motor car, but it was a race car (NMRA Factory Stock car). Other than that, not sure on a street or mild fox.

i have equal length shorties o/r x, race bulltes w/dumps and the sound is awesome. im looking to upgrade to 3" bullets with 3" tails.........

a f/i 5.0 with open headers/x/h, sounds like ass. ive tried it.ive tried true duals w/o any crossover pipe and sounds like ass.

honestly......with the setup i got really isnt loud enough for me, but it will have to make do cause im not running straight pipe

I have dumped race bullets on my 88. I like the sound but its not a DD so I don't have to deal with it all the time. If I did I would have tails put on.

I wanted to go with the mac flow paths , but for 40 bucks a piece i couldnt turn down the bullets. I'm running dumps for now , ill see what it sounds like with tails. The only part i like is that you can really really hear the cam.

one of my mufflers fell off once. needless to say, my car got disgustingly loud. it was weird though, cause you could still kinda hear the one side coming through the muffler still and then the otherside was just all BLLLAAAAAAAPPPP BLLAAAPP!

I had an 87 coupe with flows and bullets and I could here the cam better with the flows I guess because they are chambered and echoed. It was an e cam and it was dumped. But I am thinking of going with either the bullets or spintechs. But I am not sure what the bullets sound like with tails.
