I'm just confussed on which cam to use on my 1990 LX 5.0. I'm going to install 70mm throttle, 73 Mass Air, but using stock injectors and heads. It already has shorty headers and 2.5" exhaust with Flowmasters, cold intake and a Summitt Box(similar to MSD 6A). I'm also gonna install 3.73's. I't a 5spd.
I will definitely install a cam but not sure wich one E-Cam, F-CAm? It's not my daily used car but a weekend/spare car.
Please give me your opinion.

Stock cam. No reason to change it with a stock top end. If you're looking to pick up a little bit retard the cam 4 degrees and use 1.7 rockers. I wouldn't bother putting a cam in it though.

Since you're still running stock heads, the cam is honestly not worth the effort. You'd probably pick up 5-10 HP at best for 4 or 5 hours worth of work. You could very likely pick up a little bit more than that by installing some 1.7 rocker arms.

If your not lookin to do much to you top end later on just run the E303, i have it and i love it, great little street cam. You wont get alot of power out of it with you stock stuff but, its got a great sounding thump to it. With the stuff im running, on the track i run out of mid range power way to soon, so a little bigger one would be nice but im not to worried about it
