e-85 fuel?

Do not burn methanol or ethanol gas in your Mustang. It's a power robber and end up costing you more money anyway. Your mileage goes to crap making you burn more fuel. To the point where the savings per gallon are counter productive. Methanol = bad

your car wont run on it eaither. It requires a totaly diffrent fuel system and pcm stradegy. Thats why they make flex fuel vechiles such as the taurus and ranger. You need a diffrent tank injectors, ect.... it take a lot more of e85 to produce the same about of power of gasoline so the injector size will have to be significatly bigger.

Oh it will run on it allright. I've mistakenly filled up at poorly marked fuel pumps before but there's a seat of the pants difference in crapy performance along with huge decrease is mileage.

There are lots of cars out there that will and are designed to run on the ethanol/methanol blends. It supposed to burn cleaner and is great for the spotted owl or something but is still cost prehibitive to the consumer. The gas is cheaper true, but you have to run more of it to cover the same distance that you would with normal gas. It just ends up costing more in MPG.
