My E-brake lifts up so high and barley works..my cars still slides down the garage if I dont put it in gear. It was working till a monthe ago..my brakes seem fine..I know I need front rotors but the e-brake is connected to the back right?

Some one told me that it just needs an adjustment..what do you guys think? thanks

I think I read somewhere in the forums that the cable is not adjustable and the only way to fix it once it has stretced out is to install a new one...I can't remember exactly who said it but I think I thought I mighta coulda see it...I'll go check!

you probably need to tighten up the rear brakes, adjusting really helps that problem

Here is one of the threads that deals with the stretched cable issue. It needs to be replaced if adjusting the rear brakes doesn't help...seems like a fairly common occurence. I personally don't have a functioning one anymore either!
