OK i have to remove my rearend for painting the chassis and rearend. WHat is the easiest way to disconnect the ebrake lines going into the drum housing? I would assume i have to take the drums off and take the shoes off??? Any help or tips would be helpful and also whats the best way to disconnect the brake line at the top of the housing at the block?? Withiut loosing a lot of fluid..i know i will have to bleed them anyways

Go to hardware store and buy a 3/8- 24 bolt as short as possibly. Get a copper washer and a few normal washers to take up space.

Unbolt the brake line from the hard line on the body, then thread the 3/8" bolt into it's place and snug up. That will prevent fluid from leaking out of the body lines

iirc, you have to pull the drum to access the point where the cable attaches to the brake pad. the end of the cable has a knob on it that connects to a c-clip type bracket. kinda of a paint to get in and out of the bracket. good luck.
