will this combo work on a stock 89' bottom end?

e-cam, 1.6 stud mounts, 2.02/1.60 valves. i believe it should, but i want to verify. i know the tfs kits, come with a tfs stage 1, i think its similar/higher lift. i know its designed for stock bottom ends i imagine.

i have been searching, i saw someone running an f-cam on stock bottom end with TF heads, but didn't list any rocker mods.

It'll work. That's only .498 lift with 1.6 rockers. The TFS heads are the only ones I know off hand that you can get away with a 2.02 intake valve because they're canted, instead of inline.

It should work. I couldn't tell you for sure because I don't know about the size of the valves. But the only frpp cams that wouldn't work are the z-cam, and I would check the x-cam for ptv clearance before using it. Most people get away with using a tfs stage 2 cam on stock bottom end when degreeing the cam. Obviously you will need to check ptv clearance to be sure, but I don't think its one of those situations where you can say for sure it wouldn't work so don't bother using that cam, on the contrary it should work just fine.

If you are running tfs heads, you can DEFINITELY pick a better cam than an e-cam or a tfs stage 1, the stage 1 cam is known for holding an engine back with the tfs heads. If you got the money go custom, or find something better.

But my info isn't very useful because I really dont know anything about different valve sizes, best advise I can give is check ptv clearance before using any cam.
