hey guys i built and engine about 6 months ago that i havnt had a chance to put in my car yet does anyone run the e cam? i was sjtu wondering wht to expect? can u tell there is a cam in there does it sound stock? whats the idle liek ..sound mean at all?
Im building my 87 right now , pretty much stock excpet for new pistons, ported heads , cold air intake, and ignition but i put the e cam in it will be starting in a few weeks so ill get back to ya !!
E cam has a light lope to it...definitely noticeable over stock but it definitely isn't too heavy of a cam..sounds mean enough for people to know you have something.
i have an e cam in my 87 gt, it idels at 1000rpm and doesn't sound like i have a cam at all but you can feel the power come on suddenly at 1900 rpms and pulls all the way up
i have the ecam and it is very very niticable on my toy, im not sure why maybe the way i have the carb set has something to do with the major lope i have
