I'm looking at getting some tires that will hook better than my Nitto 555's while I'm at the track. I either want Mickey Thompson ETs (26X11.50 17) or a set of BFG drag Radials that will fit my 18" wheels.

SO my question is, how much of a ET diffrence would there realyl be between the 2 tires, if everything was done the same. (launches, track conditions, etc....) WOuld liek to be abke to leave the wheels on teh car all the time instead of switching them out, but if the MT's are that much better, I'll just switch them back and forth.

So anyone have any educated guess's or experience? Thanks.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Mickey Thompson ET streets. Now, you're not going to get as many miles on them as you would on your Nitto's, but they will hook much better.

If you go to the track a lot I'd suggest investing in two rims and put a set of dedicated drag radials on them and just put them on at the house/apartment/condo/whatever before you leave for the track.
