you need to be real careful when buying a used cam. The wear pattern on a used cam can is going to be different than your motor will produce. Personally i would never buy a used cam unless i could physically see it in my hand.

a friend of mine had edelbrock heads, cobra intake, E CAM, and an SQ trim with a lot more work done to it. Got it dynoed, motor wasn't making much power after 5500. Mainly because of the E cam.

i think im gonna go with the trick flow stage one, to be honest, with all the different opinions ive gotten ive about decided that its solely a matter of opinion. Trick flow has a good reputation, havent heard anything bad about it so i think ill go with it. Plus its inexpensive. Ill probably match it with trick flow street intake manifolds, 70mm tb and a 75mm maf... BTW, what kind of valve springs, roller rockers and pushrods will i need?

check out my sig its almost the same thing you want. If your going to go with ported E7s then buy the heads Thumper Performance puts out i love them. The only down side is they are still heavy iron heads and i would like to have some aluminum edlebrocks.

man i wish i could afford a new pair of heads , i only have about 1k to work with, chances are i wont have money to port the heads because im planning on pulling my engine and rebuilding as much as i can and i need money for that, new pistons and rings. Im going to try to buy the intake off of ebay, i can probably get one for around 300$ if i shop right.
