These are what the stock 5.0 HO's use correct?

I have a set of heads laying around from my trucks old 5.0 (94 F-150) and they have a "T" stamped on them which identifys them as the E7TE heads I think. I wanted to confirm that.

I was just curious as I wanted to get them milled and cleaned up. A friend is interested in them for his 67 Stang's engine (88 302).

that sounds right. as i recall, they were 'borrowed' from trucks for the stangs. this is some foggy memory i have, to take it for what it is worth.

You are correct, or at least the basic part of the head for sure is from the F150s of the same years....i'm not sure if they fiddled with the valves or not but i doubt it.

Sounds good.

I think I'm gonna take em and have them cleaned up today or tomarrow. I'll be trying my hand at a little custom porting job on them for my bud. Im a fair hand with a Dremmel and it should be fun, hehe.

I was always told that e7 heads were truck heads.

the e7te heads were used from the truck line when ford discovered the wedge style head casting molds were gone. I read about this on the ford heritage site a few years ago. I cant find it now but the wanted to go back to the heads they used prior to the undersized 86 heads but couldnt find the molds or something like that, so they found that the truck e7te heads would work just fine.
