E85 and Compression ratios question.

I want to run E85 and also be able switch to us 93 octine. I am going to build a 800 HP engine, supercharged to 14 psi. What would be the best compression ratio for this configuration?

8:1 or 8.5:1

But doesn't E85 sence it is ethanol require a highier compression ration then 8.1 or 8.5?

yea you would have to run like 91 or 93. Sorry I dont know then.. my bad

Yep thats a given on this configuration nothing less then 93. But also want the option of being able to use E85
