At the same place I saw the 70 Torino I posted about, I saw an early Stang Coupe that had been in a wreck. It didn't look very bad but the frame might need to be straightened....no fenders or grill. Everything else seems to be there. V8/auto. I could probably get it for $500 or so....avoid a wrecked car? Bust a move ASAP?

Found a pic!!

If its a 5.0, you should look at that Fox coupe next to it. I personally would avoid a wrecked car.

I wouldnt fork over $500 for it.

It would most likely take a few grand to get it road worthy, you could probably buy a running coupe for around 1000-1500.

You are looking at 2 front fenders, a hood, headlight buckets, grille shell, grille, upper and lower valance and front bumper. If you are smart and stay away from repros ( Taiwan parts are really carppy) you are looking at at least $800. You could buy some used parts, maybe save a couple hundred, but then you gotta work them to save them. I would pass, you can find a good coupe more complete than that.
