Might have to sacrifice a socket...... hammer it on and spin off the lock.

On many cars, pounding a cheap socket into the lock is the least destructive way to get the lock off.
Edit, @Rdub6 types faster than me.

thanks guys

turns out i ended up not needing the solution.

i was going to go take off my back tires and work on my brakes that have stuck pins.
as i was walking to my car with my tools, i was like, uh oh, what did i do with the lug key? few seconds of thought and i realized i left it on the wheel when i put the tires back on sunday afternoon. i drive the car monday, tuesday, wednesday, and thursday, so i was sure that thing was gone, and it was.
after i put my post up here, i started thinking about hmmm, it couldnt have stayed on the wheel too long. and then i had to remember which tire i put on last and way i pulled out of my driveway monday night.
pretty sure it was driver side and i turned right, so my wife and i started walking and amazingly i found it about 40 feet down the road about 2 inches from a neighbors grass. pretty lucky i think, right?

thanks again for the help though, if i ever do something like this again, will use that idea of the socket
