I do not know what the a/f was. I also do not know what the final timing was set at. I went to start the car yesterday and it turned over many times and no start. This morning I pulled the diablo chip out and it started right up. I put it back and it woyuldn't start again. Pulled it out and now it starts fine. WTF? Could my chip be bad?

You didn't install a boost retard device did you? My car only made 215 to the wheels until I removed the BTM and then it belted out 423 HP with NO detonation.

I also have a starting problem that's due to the tune. I'm taking my car back soon to get it fixed. I suggest you do the same if you can.

Awsome build up btw! I hope you get the bugs ironed out because I know you got 300 RWHP at least hiding in there!!

chip could be bad... But im questioning that guy your having tune it. I had no problems tuning myself and ive never done it before. I have zero detonation, and a good soild AFR, and the car runs great. Get him to check that chip and tune it agian, but im not sure he knows what he is doing.

The chip causes intermittent start up problems. Sometimes it works fine though. I just realized that I blocked off my pcv and I only put a breather filter on the top of the passenger side valve cover. I read in another forum that could cause crankcase pressure and blow by resulting in detonation. I am going to put another breather on the drivers side and see if it makes any difference.

Might try cleaning the connections for the chip? Could it be losing contact?

Don't hate your car man. This is what happens when we start asking more from our cars than what they were designed to deliver. Sometimes we get lucky and other times they're a PITA! I have a supercharger kit MADE for my car and it's still a PITA!! I can only imagine your frustration... hang in there, the more kinks you straighten out with this, the larger your grin will get when you drive it!

I think something else is wrong not that, whats size pulley did you put on the blower? and what is your boost gauge reading?

Check your base timing, set it a 10

Run priemium fuel, 93 octane

Also a good thing to know is what your AFR and your total timing is, with those I can try to help you a little more with you problems, be careful with that detonation you can blow a headgasket easily.

I have a 2.3" pulley (took your advice) 7 PSI. If I unplug the chip the timing is at 10 deg. The guy who tuned it said that he had to pull 16 deg of total timing.

my total timing is about 21 deg and my AFR is 11.5:1 and it runs great.

Your are running premium fuel right?

My pcv is still working, idk if that has anything to do with it but I got mine hooked up to a vac line after the throttle body but before the supercharger.
