Ebay aluminum radiator??

Well I usually ask before I buy, but I was in a tight and needed to get myself a radiator. I found an Engineered-Products 2 row aluminum radiator on ebay. It's 2 1" rows with a trans cooler for $199 bucks. Has anyone else bought or know anything about these particular radiators? I am upgrading from an extremely clogged copper 2 row and ever since i added my vintage air it really put a hurt on my cooling. Anyway, any info you guys may have on Engineered Products, I would appreciate it, thanks!

I searched ebay to look at it but found nothing from your description.
I solved my overheating problems on the 66 with a 2 row aluminum radiator, electric fan and overflow recovery tank.
I changed out the 17 inch stock one for a 20 inch from 67. The 289 can idle all day in 100 degree heat now.

I bought a Champion aluminum off Ebay for my 68, at the time (2-3 months back) $189 plus shipping. Engine doesn't even THINK about overheating in 110+ degrees/Las Vegas. Not the prettiest radiator, but good fit, good cooling and prompt shipping. I bought it off of some re-seller (made in China, of course, for $189) and I'll post his link if I can find it. My only bitch is that the overflow nipple points to the passenger side Oh well.

I used a universal one from Summit, cost $169...keeps the 408 cool in the 65 in the hot FL summer!

I dont know why, but you have to do an advanced search and include "engineered-products" in the sellers block to find these radiators, but they are supposedly 2 row 1" core radiators, all welded, billet necks, and plate style internal trans coolers. Cost me 228 after shipping....its somewhere in illinois right now, lol

Alright, it arrived this afternoon. It was packaged really nice. Appears to be in the condition and built to the specs their ebay ad says, it has the 2 1" rows. The only flaw was one corner on the mounting flange was bent, but i fixed that in about 2 seconds. I am going to install it this weekend along with a new water pump, so maybe I will have some results. Anyway, I am going to attempt to post some pics, so here goes...

Looks nice.
Make sure you fill it with premixed anti freeze or add distiled water only. If you use tap water, the aluminum will start to corrode by electrolysis.
I would also add added water wetter and a new cap.
It will look awesome in your car!

Ill be sure and do that, thanks for the advice...I have also heard of those "self sacrificing" anode caps, that take the abuse instead of the radiator....

Well i got the radiator installed and so far so good, I cant give an accurate reading becuse when i was putting my sending unit back in for the temp gauge one of the wires fell out of it, so no temp gauge. But it fit well, didnt have to modify any holes, the only difference is the radiator cooling lines ended up being about 2 inches wider apart, but with a little bending I fixed that problem. But I know I have a 180 thermostat on my electric fan and it never cut on in the 10 minutes i idled around the lot, anyway, I will get a new sending unit and update
