Ebay scam or not? Help settle an argument

I agree. His money... He does what he wants with it... He's not a dick because he won't loan you money. Have you paid him back for that TKO 600 he bought you yet? That might be a factor in his decision.

I did +$100.
i didnt start this thread to complain he wouldnt give me money.
i started it because a friend i was talking to, was dead set convinced somebody who won that auction would get scammed, and i saw no reason why.

Ebay isnt really much of a deal for vehicles that are desirable like a lightning.

With the $3+/gallon prices, and the rate people have been ditching trucks/suvs. its possible to find a deal here and there

I dont care about the fact he wouldnt let me borrow any money. Just mad at the fact that he had to lie about it instead of just say no
