Hey guys,

So my Heidts MII setup came this week -- Looks great.

I am trying to find a rear sump pan but all I can seem to find are high dollar ultra large capacity oil pans.

What have others with MII used? I would be happy with just a regular stamped steel rear sump pan. Will the rear sump truck pans work?

Thanks.

The truck and Bronco pans are rear sump, but what you really want is more of a "dual sump" pan like the Fox Mustangs used but for a 351W. Like Brianj5600 said, one form an 80's Crown Vic is exactly what you want. They're easy to find and cheap in wrecking yards. Be sure to get the pan, pickup, main cap bolt, and dipstick w/ tube. You should be able to get it all for under $25.

also interested in this as I just got my Scott's Hot Rod front end in. I see the Canton Pan out there, but it is PRICEY. I did find chromed rear sump 302 oil pans on Ebay for $30. I think they are for a Bronco, but I was told would fit our applications without any issues. You do, however, have to buy a pick up.
