Put Teflon tape on the threads of the ECT Sensor when you replace it. You don't want coolant spraying everywhere. Also, you will need a really big/deep socket to remove the ECT. I can't remember the size, but when you go to the auto parts store, take the new ECT to the tool section and find a deep socket that will fit. Or if you have a open end wrench that will fit, i think that will work. But it's a tight fit. Socket is really easy. Took me 5 minutes to remove/install.
Haven't done the PCV before. But I think the PCV is the "crankcase vent oil separator element". PCV = Positive crankcase Ventilation Valve. Probably two names for the same thing.
