edelbrock performer installers

here is a pic of my vacuum fittings that came with the intake. i dont think these are the right ones. i have the plugs in the intake that faces the front of the car and on the back there are three holes 2 big ones and a small one. now one of those holes gets a piece from the stock intake while the other two get new stuff. both fittings fit the small hole, and the large vacuum hose. do i need to call edelbrock and get the right stuff or is there a trick here.

i have the factory lower out, and i broke a bolt doing it. all i have to say is this better be worth it or all my money goes to the 69 Z/28 from now on.

I'm using 2 fittings off of my stock intake. The "L" shapped one, and theres one with 3 fittings on it (1 big, 2 small) and One of thoes from the kit. I have my brake booster running to the "L" shapped one, PCV going to the other big one, fuel pressure reg and red vac line going to the other 2 small ones (same piece), and the 5th vaccume line is coming from the passenger side running along the firewall almost, and that one went to one of the fittings Eddy. supplied.

If you can get a picture of the under side of the upper intake, I'll show you how I have mine setup

Well, I'll tell you what I did -- I used a small cone fitting that came with the edelbrock for the vacuum line (only one which hooks directly into the intake itself, the big vacuum line hooks into the elbow), and I used a larger cone fitting that also came with the edelbrock to hook one of the PCV hoses to. I couldn't get the other PCV fitting from the stock intake to fit without banging into my valve covers (Fox covers, might be taller than stock 94/95 covers), so I just plugged that hole with a pipe plug and capped that section of the PCV off. Why the PCV has two connections to the intake, I do not know, but mine seems to work fine with just one. The extra plugs I needed I got at Home Depot, there were not enough of them with the intake as shipped from edelbrock.

Here you go... its a crude drawing but hopefully you'll get the idea... the fitting for the brake booster goes over to the side hear the corner of the intake. That "L" fitting was really close to my valve covers, but I was also running the fox covers not the stock ones, but a shorter fitting fixed up my problem and have more than enough clearance

Next time I pull my intake off I'll have to take a picture of it... seems like a lot of people have been asking about the vac. lines on the performer.

Anyone see anything wrong with how I got mine setup? Powered By Ford forgot to include the fittings for my intake, so I has to make a trip to Lowes and use some stock fittings... The way I see it, all of the lines are getting vaccume, so everything is fine right?

Thats fine. By time we got around to putting the vac. lines back on my intake we had forgotten where then went, plus I didn't get any fittings when I bought my intake so I had to make due with what I had.
