I have a 92 Lx 5.0 5 speed, with 1 3/4 equal length shorties, 2.5 h pipe, 2.5 american thunder cat back, pulleys control arms and short shifter.

I was looking for a new manifold to get a bit more oomph, in the future, probably 4 or 5 months from now, i want to do heads and cam, however for now, i got myself a Edelborck performer RPM manifold. My question is this, will it hurt my power rather than improve over stock? will it bog below say 1500? i want this manifold because i intend on running nitrous when i do heads/cam, possibly before as well. So is it really a huuge difference between the rpm and basic performer as to driveability?

I don't think you will loose any low end torque, maby a little in the range it really doesn't matter but not enought to really feel. You will pick up more power, just don't expect any real increase in power until you do the heads.
