i had the intension of getting the rpm, and the guy at jegs had a 94 with the rpm II and talked me into it..But im thinking about it and i think i need the rpm, its going on at the same time as my vortech, so its going to be blown, but should i take it back and get the rpm or stick with this one?

With a stock motor aode combo, the rpmII is a bad match. Its a great intake if you build a good combo, but with E7 heads and a stock cam, its WAY wrong. If your keeping the heads/cam stock, the edelbrock performer will work better. I think the rpm will work decent too due to the blower and you have 4.10's as well.

With your combo, don't even bother with the RPM, get the standard Performer. The RPM 2 smokes the RPM in every way (down low, up high and everywhere else). It's got better velocity and the whole nine yards. The Performer is the better low end manifold and will provide plenty of performance with more bottom end than the RPM.

I wish I knew then what I know now when I ordered my Typhoon (RPM replica), I feel like I did loose some lower RPM grunt. Oh well, I'll just have to make my car a high rev beast. I think either the Performer or RPM II would make a good intake for your application, although for the money a Performer would be better, its hard for an auto to be able to stay in the higher RPM's that are needed to really make the RPM II shine. Good luck.

Off Topic: davins130, whats the best time you have turned in your car (N/A and on the bottle)? I want to eventually get a stall and shift kit like yours. Your setup is really similar to mine (minus stall and shift kit) so I would like to get an idea about times. Thanks.

i say stick with the rpm2 due to the fact you and i and everybody else knows your not going to keep the stock heads very long.

all my power is up top, and i do stay up in the rev's more than you'd think with that stall and 4.10's, but i think the performer is my best bet...the only thing keeping me back from heads and cam is lack of money...Oh well i'll be happy with this..only ran it one day with my current set-up, pulled a 1.9 60', then went on to run a 14.6 at 89 mph...dont even ask...Then i blew the next three launches (like 3.8 second 60's) and went on to run high 15's at like 92 mph...Again dont ask. ran once with nitrous and smoooooooooooooked the tires when i hit it and pulled a 14.3 or something crappy. i have no luck with cars.
