I just loaded up my first datalog from the tweecer into the EEC Analyser. In the MAF tab, I imported my MAF curve that was used during the datalog (ie Stock Cobra) and all the voltages were off. I get like 29 points from 0-1.5 and then a 5 volt point? The software still calculates the NEW curve from the datalog, but the Export curve is the same with values from 0-1.5?

Did I do somehting wrong when I imported the original MAF curve?

Thanks

I guess I will answer my own question. I manually put the 30 point values in the first 2 rows and it seems to have worked. I the applied the calculation and the new curve has all the right voltages!

I guess a little work pays off!

p.s. If there is an easier way let me know... Or maybe i'm not doing this right at all?

For that reason I alway man. load my maftransfer. I have used the drop down menu for the w4 or whatever maftransfer one time though in EA and it worked but that was EA to EA not tweecer to EA.

Another thing I have noticed that on the maftransfer when you enter it back into cal-edit you should use the arrow keys to move and not the mouse. On the last cell arrow out of and back into that last cell. For some reason this works alot better than the mouse enter method.

You may have a little changing up to do on the transfer it will be small but not un-common with the factory mafs. The factory ones are realy close to spot on so if your using a stock maf its a bit easier.

Yeah, I always enter values in the the arrow keys and hit enter like 5 times to make sure it sticks. It's a screwy program to say the least

Anytime you hose around with the maf curve, double and triple check all values.

Even after refreshing and saving I have seen them change

Like Greg said, I don't ex ...im ... or ... any other kinda port the values when talking about the maf curve. Hand load only as for me thank you

Looks like you are starting to have a bit of fun

Tell that to my wife Good thing she likes car and she even sat down with me far a MAF transer curve tutorial last night

On that front, when I manually input the values in caledit they change a little bit after I save the file? Not much. Anybody have this problem. It's like it wont accept certain values and uses somehting close?

Get wifee involved

I understand completely and mine thinks its a hoot when she can help

She gets all jazzed up at the reactions of peeps when we pull up to a light at night and they see the laptop clicking off numbers in real time mode

She has been the most help when dialing in the upper part of the maf curve during final af ratio tweecs. Things happen really quick and the speeds get a bit high so ... its more safe that way

As for the maf air flow values changing a bit, that is a normal thing. It is a good idea to make sure they are within a range of say ... 1/4 to 1/2 of 1% of what you call for. Some times you have to enter a value just slightly lower or higher and you can get closer to your desired entry value.

Another little thing that is worth noting here about working with the air flow values in the transfer ................

When you do the % change thing with the Cal Edit utility, be sure to check them as I have found them to be as much as 2 or 3% off from what value I called for.

Stuff like that can make you say "I don't understand" when your datalogs don't reflect the kinds of results you are looking for

At times, self tuning can make you kinda
