I'm installing a ford tripminder computer in my turbo coupe but where the 2.3t EEC-iv was is now an 89 5.0 unit. The 2.3 comp had a fuel flow signal at pin 34 to tap into to allow the tripminder to calculate mpg but my mass air 5.0 computer has nothing coming from pin 34... Where do I find a fuel flow signal?

I know it can be done with the v8 ecu's, but I can't recall any specifics.
(I do plan on doing this with the 408w, but I need to get the motor running first...)

There are a couple of guys on EECTuning.org who have done it.
Run a search there and see what you get.

I will come back later tonight with my notes...
I should have a couple of links saved away somewhere...

Where are you planning to mount the display?

thanks, I'll check it out. As for mounting, I'm lucky cause my bird had the clock above the radio... Couple custom brackets and it bolts right in place of the clock... Where are you going to put yours? I'd love to see it in your stang when you're done!
