Do any parts stores sell replacement EEC relays. My car died in traffic yesterday and after I got it towed to work I checked it out today and the EEC relay was full of rusty water. Needless to say its junk. My parts guy doesnt carry any older stuff so Im trying to find an alternative. Im trying to figure out how it got water in it because Id hate to think I have a water leak by the PCM.....

It should be a standard stock item with all the major auto parts chains.

Advance Auto Parts http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=GPS&mfrpartnumber=MR14&parttype=1224&ptset=A

Part No.
MR14 GP Sorensen Relay
Yellow or Gray; Use w/{MR54} Conn.
Warranty: 1 Year Replacement Warranty. Cost $12.44

A tip that may help is to remove the passenger side dash speaker. It helps some, but you need small hands (or some willing person who has them) to get to the relay.

I agree with you N8, trust me. But I needed to get my car home so I settled for one from NAPA and had my parts guy order me one for tomorrow.

you can even get a kit that includes two O2 sensors, A/C, engine, and EEC relay, TAD and TAB solenoids for like 80 bucks shipped from John Bleakley Ford

if you can wait to get it shipped
