I know several forms of martial arts, my girlfriend is a supermodel/**** star, I pay next to nothing for brand new parts, and my car runs 9's ALL DAY LONG at every track, no matter the conditions. I'm going turbo and I'm smoothing my engine bay. If you ask me for proof, dyno sheets, or time slips, I'll just tip-toe around the question and then not sign into this site for a week or two until everyone forgets. This is stangnet, let's get serious here. LSx swap.

I did my t5 swap 2 years ago and I am now on my 4th cable, I think I tried every cable on the market! Ford OEM is the strongest but I found my problem with broken/stretched cables was a number of reasons, first dont ever buy anything from UPR! The triple hook quadrant are just a gimmick to bypass steeda's double hook design, third hook geometry increases pedal stiffness and was obviosly not designed for function but for profit, second i'm running a spec stage 2 clutch, which has a really tough PP, and third the instruction for installing the quadrants sometimes have improper spacing. Once I took off my firewall adjuster i noticed it was off to one side, I spaced it up to fit right in the middle of the hole. I also bought a universal oem ford clutch cable from MM that I lubed up with white lithium grease, and installed a steeda dbl hook qdrnt. After all that it feels like a new car!! So much more fun to drive now, feels like my friends 99 GT. I hardly have to press the clutch in to shift now where as before i had to put it to the floor to shift stretching my cable to the max, and before I was constantly adjusting at the firewall due to cable stretch, clutch was constantly slipping and was a huge headache. Was seriously considering a hyd clutch before I took the time to figure out a logical solution. I repeat DONT BUY UPR!!! There is a reason why their crap is so much cheaper than everbody else, you get what you pay for, I learned that the hard way.

It's got nothing to do with pedal pressure. Not for me at least. You are however, more than welcome to come over and put a couple turns on my firewall adjuster.
