I'm trying to find a bracket so I can mount it on the inner fender. NAPA showed nothing, and didn't find anything at summit either. Where did you guys mount your coil?

I used a Ford Racing coil that's got a chrome bracket with mount holes, making it easy to mount on your inner fender (or shock tower or wherever you decide it fits). The stock Fox bracket is a pain to use, and isn't good looking. There are alternatives to the Ford Racing unit that have brackets - just look around. Here's the Summit number for the Ford Racing coil: FMS-M-12029-E351 http://store.summitracing.com/

Pick and Pull off of a fox mustang. I think they look fine and I don't have any chrome in my engine bay so it (Ford Racing unit at least) would stand out too much. I just bent over one tab and it is a perfect fit, looking original to the engine bay; I painted it black.

Oh, sorry. I just looked at your location. Do you have any of the pick and pulls near you? I can pick one up for you, when I am out there this weekend. I think I paid $5 for mine. Email me if you need one- dnolan@arborxeri.com. David

This state really sucks for salvage yards! It is so hard to find things up here, and when you do you pay almost as much for a new one. It would have been nice just to have a fox body to look at the engine when I had questions. I've been studing any pic I could find! lol

Thanks so much for the offer 68converted!! That is pretty cool of you to offer. I looked at the Ford Racing and kinda like it so I'm going to give it a shot. I kinda have a soft spot for chrome anyways!

I just placed the order at Summit! This should be the last part I need to complete the deal!! Just gotta finish some wiring and do the fuel system. I'm getting excited!

I haven't really taken any pictures. To be honest I started this project about 3 years ago, and just getting around to having time to finish it. I'm leaving mon. morning for a few weeks, and I'm trying my hardest to fire it off before I leave. Cross my fingers!!!

Off Topic... I learned a new trick today if anyone is doing soldering.... I tried the electric ones soldering guns, and they take forever! A friend recomended one of those small butane torches, and that sucker works AWSOME!!!
