Yes i know i have a good combo, and yes i've done the month long process of hiding all the crap and deleting alot of it, as when i did this i filled all the hole and repainted everything!. I just figured and thought tuning a carbed engine is easier then the fuel injection? peaceloud 95 said:Why fix it if it is not broken? Are you having specific problems? You have a pretty well matched combo in your car right now. You may have already done this, but you can move much of the wiring behind the fenders to clean up the engine bay quite a bit.

it will be carbed. Cold weather isnt really a problem either since it's not my daily driver. I guess with having a carbed air cleaner under there is a sign of grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr pure muscle car? Feels cool when it slams ya back in the seat after the secondaries are kicked in, and also sounds way sweet! Lots of good input and pro's and cons with the 2 diffrent set up's i guess it's just what the driver preferes? peace

I am confused. Lets talk air fuel. Where is it at with the chip in and out? What changes have been made since the chip was burned? (assuming the chip isnt some Hypercrap off the shelf "tune"). Chances are you are far from where you need to be with the current combo- and putting on a carburator wont solve a bad tune/setup. The chip may not make a difference you can feel, but I bet it cleans up the air fuel (as long as everything else it was burned around stayed the same). What do you mean? Before the chip it put down what was it? 310 HP and 338 TQ or close to those numbers with from what i understood a bone cold engine? At the wheels, then after the chip burnt on the same dyno regardless it was a diffrent time of the year but who knows it put 297HP and 328TQ? I'm not here to discuss that, it was all about the carbed over EFI. I have no clue the air fuel ? As far as i know the air fuel was in check when the chip was burntgospeedgo said:Huh? dont know that was "top secert" and yes everything has stayed the same except i'm runnin dumps now. wanna barrow me your wide band? As far as times go yes i'm a whole second to 1/2 second off chris's times but then again he had how many passes in the car compared to my what maybe 13 now! So are you saying your able to go out this weekend in it and run the 12sec #'s? Your more then welcome to hell i'll even put that lousy POS chip back in for ya so there is no excusse for ya. I have never said or claimed i ran a 12 sec pass in the car, but i have said the previuos owner or the "car" has gone 12.3! Everyone i tell my best is a 13flat! peace
