Has anyone used nylon fuel line from tank to engine in place of the factory steel line? Trying to find an economical way to mate the springlock EFI fittings to the factory (carb) steel fuel line, but haven't had much luck. I'd like to use steel or stainless steel, but have been considering the nylon as a simple alternative. I'm just concerned with it cracking or being damaged from road debris etc. Any tips/advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Ford used the nylon line, so it cant be that bad. I used aluminum fuel line though with nylon connections to the Ford fittings. Any local Auto supply has repair kits with nylon line & barbed connections. You do need to soften the nylon fuel line by heating it in boiling water. After it cools, it hardens around the barbed fittings.
