Q. Why delete EGR, it makes no differenc in power?

A. First understand the EGR. The EGR is an emmisions device designed to add exaust to the intake air to reburn what left over HC's and the bunt gas acts as a buffer, inert gas, which helps keep exaust gas temps down, preventing the production of NOx gasses. Although the EGR is suposed to be closed durring acceleration and idle, sometimes it malfunctions and causes problems. Less Parts = Less chance for problems. Working in a shop I can tell you that a majority of problems relates to the emmisions systems in modern cars.

why i did it was because i bought a TB (really good price) with no spacer, so i thought to myself, i could spend $50 on the spacer and connect the egr system that has a million vacume lines on it, or i could delete it and clean up my engine bay for free. plus the guy at the shop i went to said they delete them all the time and no one has ever had a problem
